18 Phones Confirmed For Android 4.4 KitKat Update

Lots of Samsung devices were supposed to be finishing their working lives on Jelly Bean 4.2.2, including the Galaxy S2 and Note 1. Google brought out KitKat in October last year, and this new OS has a Linux kernel that supports devices with a low working memory capacity

In March last year, SamMobile posted the list of devices destined for Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and those destined for Android 5 (which has turned out to be KK). The lucky devices set to go up to KitKat include:

6. Galaxy S Advance
7. Galaxy S2 and S2 Plus
8. Galaxy Premier

11. Galaxy Fame
12. Galaxy X Cover 2
13. Selected Galaxy Tabs
Some Galaxy devices are meant to get Android 4.4 KitKat straight away:
1. Galaxy Note 3
2. Galaxy S4 and other variants
3. Galaxy Note 8.0 and other variants
4. Upcoming Galaxy Note 10.1 and 12.2
5. Galaxy S4 mini
